He is a ten-year member of Bass Pro Shops Redhead Pro Hunting Staff and a four-time winner of the Billy Westmoreland Smallmouth Invitational at Dale Hollow Lake. Larry and his wife Ashley have three children – Mason, Ashlyn, and Baylee.

Dr. Thurman has been with Blue Ridge Radiology since 2012. His main clinical interests include women’s imaging and image guided procedures. He has been involved with group leadership since 2015. He and his wife, Katie are Tri-Cities natives. Most of their free time is spent shuttling their three children: Anna, Lydia and Bennett, to their assorted activities. His favorite activities are trips to Dollywood and days on the lake with his family.
